Last week, the United Kingdom’s Foreign Office resident cat, Palmerston announced his retirement from his duties so that he could spend more time away from the things going on in the world. He also promised to still remain as an ambassador for the UK and the Foreign Office also published “his” resignation letter.
This letter stated that he will be moving away so that he could climb trees rather than overhearing all the foreign dinitaries conversations, which is probably a very smart decision. The black-and-white rescue cat has more than 105,000 Twitter followers.
Here’s a big thanks for being one of the very few trustable representatives in the political world. Enjoy your retirement, Palmerston!
